Game News - August 24, 2021

According to rumors, a reboot of the Saints Row franchise will be released in 2022, with exclusive access to PCs via Epic Store

Geoff Keighley said that the Saints Row revival would be shown at Gamescom 2021, however there are currently little details available about this new project, which is being published by Deep Silver and developed by the series’ creator, Volition, who was previously owned by THQ.

According to reports, the game will simply be called Saints Row (rather than Saints Row V) and will be released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PCs on February 25, 2022. (apenas na Epic Store).

It is now confirmed that the reveal will take place during the Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25th. Unfortunately, we don’t know much more about this title at the time, as the official Saints Row website just shows a regressive countdown that expires tomorrow at midnight, along with Deep Silver and Volition logos.

After Saints Row IV (released in 2013), the studio released Saints Row IV: Reelected and Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell in 2015, however the franchise was put on hold for more than five years, and it is now time for a big return.

We’ll find out more in the coming hours, when Saints Row is officially revealed.
