    Check out a summary of everything that was announced on Nintendo Direct

    Nintendo Direct, the company's regular September internet conference, took place yesterday. Several trailers for long-awaited titles set to be published in 2021 and 2022 were showcased at the event.

    The primary features of the event will be the long-awaited gameplay of Bayonetta 3, the announcement of Kirby and The Forgotten Land, the addition of Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis titles, the announcement of campaign mode Splatoon 3 and one more trailer before Metroid Dread’s debut.     Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak

    Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, a massive expansion for the Switch game, was revealed by Capcom. In the video, a Rathalos is seen flying before being grabbed up by a new ancient dragon. The DLC has not been defined, but it is expected to be released in the second half of 2022.

    Mario Party Superstars

    Nintendo also revealed details about the next game in the Mario Party franchise. The popular Mario and Luigi board game will include more boards than previously announced, as well as the ability to play online.

    Mario Party Superstars will be available for the Nintendo Switch on October 29th.

    Kirby and the Forgotten Land

    During the event, HAL Laboratory unveiled a new Kirby title. Kirby will explore a mysterious environment full of abandoned structures from a bygone civilisation in this spectacular new 3D platform adventure. With various power-ups and enemies to overcome, the game appears to be fairly inspired by earlier 3D titles in the Mario franchise. An significant aspect is that the game appears to be a semi-open world, similar to the world of Super Mario Odyssey. What surprises will the pink acorn discover?

    Kirby and the Forgotten Land is set to be released in the spring of 2022. (North hemisphere).

    Triangule Strategy

    Square Enix has unveiled further details about its 2D tactical RPG game based on Octopath Traveler’s look. Triangle Strategy discusses the Saltiron War, a struggle involving three states. Players will be able to assemble a team of heroes and engage in battles with multiple layers, where even the difference in height between the platforms where each character is positioned becomes important in the combat. The game will be released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on March 4, 2022. Pre-orders and a new demo are now available through the eShop.

    Nintendo 64 e Sega Genesis no NSO

    Yes, after many demands and rumors, Nintendo will finally bring Nintendo 64 games to the Nintendo Switch. Furthermore, the company surprised everyone when it announced a relationship with Sega and introduced Genesis titles to its service. These two platforms, however, will be available only to NSO members who purchase the additional pack; Nintendo has not yet revealed the price of this new pack.At launch, Mario Kart 64, Ocarina of Time, and Star Fox 64 had already been confirmed.

    On October 20, 2021, the service will receive information.

    Splatoon 3

    There is now a campaign mode in Splatoon 3. As the teaser and title “Return of the Mammalians” hint, mammals will make a comeback in this next release. Players will have to figure out what this reappearance implies throughout history.

    The game will be launched in 2022, but no specific date has been selected.

    Metroid Dread

    Nintendo has released yet another Metroid Dread trailer, this time recapping the game’s powers and scenarios seen in earlier videos. Samus will discover Planet ZDR and battle the EMMI robots and Chozos monsters who oppose the bounty hunter in this new chapter.

    Metroid Dread will be available for the Nintendo Switch on October 8th.

    Animal Crossing New Horizons Direct e Super Smash Bros Ultimate Direct

    Nintendo has announced two additional press conferences to discuss previously unseen material from New Horizons and Smash Bros. Ultimate. The first refers to new seasonal products, characters, and events that will take place on New Horizons’ island paradise, while the second will be tied to the game’s current fighter, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Who is going to accept the invitation?

    Bayonetta 3

    PlatinumGames has revealed the first gameplay of Bayonetta 3 after nearly four years of silence. The film clip shows land-based military personnel battling aliens from another dimension. After nearly all humans have been exterminated, a monster’s attack is halted by gunshots. After a brief anticipation, Bayonetta appears and the gameplay begins. The protagonist, as in prior games, employs distinctive long-distance and close-quarters strikes. We also see unique skills in action, such as one that begins with a dance and summons a giant dragon to square off against another enormous creature. More information about the game’s story and gameplay will be released.

    Bayonetta 3 will be released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch in 2022.
