Electronic Arts declared the feature a success after it was tested on FIFA 21.
“Following great fan feedback following their launch in FIFA 21, Preview Packs will be available in FIFA 22 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Stadia, and PC,” the company announced in a blog post.
“To refresh your memory, Preview Packs are a type of pack that allows you to view all of the specific products featured within it. You can buy the pack with FUT Coins or FIFA Points once you’ve seen what’s in it.”
Preview Packs will coexist with ‘regular’ Loot Boxes, which do not allow you to see what’s inside.
“At launch, you can expect to see the following: The Premium Gold Pack will be available for preview alongside the non-Preview version on a 24-hour refresh timer,” EA stated.
“The Premium Silver Pack will be offered for preview alongside the non-Preview version on a 24-hour update timer.”
Last year, Electronic Arts released FIFA Playtime, a feature that allows users to see how much time and money they’ve spent on the game and set spending and Ultimate Team limitations.
