Horizon: Zero Dawn runs at 60 frames per second on the PS5, compared to 30 frames per second on the PS4 and PS4 Pro
This week, a new update for Horizon: Zero Dawn for PS5 was released, with the goal of enabling 60 frames per second in Guerrilla Games’ open-world game. The update is now available to everyone, and the YouTube channel “ElAnalistaDeBits” has released a new video.
Speaking of Horizon: Zero Dawn, its sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, has been officially delayed and will now be released on February 18, 2022.
The video shows how the game runs at 60 frames per second on the PS5 and compares it to the game running at 30 frames per second on the PS4 and PS4 Pro. Horizon: Zero Dawn on PS5 not only improved the 60 FPS, but it also improved the loading times, with a difference of up to 1 minute between the PS4 and PS4 Pro.
