Kena: Bridge Of Spirits – PS5 version details released

Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be released for PS4 and PS5, however those who purchase the game for Sony’s latest console will gain access to some exclusive features.

The biggest one is the Loyalty Mode, which allows the Ember Lab’s next magical adventure to be played in native 4K/30 FPS, providing a “cinematic experience.” Kena: Bridge of Spirits will run at 60 frames per second in 4K dynamic resolution in Performance Mode.

The activity cards will be included in the PS5 version of the game as well. Mike Greier, one of the game’s creators, had previously discussed the features of the control DualSense:

“In addition to the adaptable triggers for the bow and arrow, we use tactile feedback in all Kena talents and on your shield. The strength of the string can be seen, and the more it stretches, the stronger and more precise the arrow will be. DualSense will pick up on this strain. We’ve created mini-games to help you practice using this equipment.”

Furthermore, only the most recent platform will show the full number of Rock, the 100 small creatures recruited by the protagonist, and the woodlands will be much denser than on the PS4. Kena will be loaded in an amazing 2 seconds from the PS5’s home screen. The loading happens even if the game isn’t running in the background. Stunning!

Ember Lab shared a short snippet of gameplay on the PS4 on Twitter:

Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be released for PC, PS4, and PS5 on September 21, 2021. A Photo Mode will be included in the game, which you can see in action below. Furthermore, Maximum Games will release a physical version of the Deluxe Edition of the game.

Meanwhile, Fall Guys players will be thrilled to learn that Kena will be joining the game starting tomorrow.
