The winner will receive a prize of ¥2,000,000 and their game will be commercialized, with Konami investing ¥30,000,000 in the game, which includes supervision, a production board, localization support, game promotion, and equipment costs.

Konami has provided a list of 80 games on which developers can work to create reimaginations, remakes, or sequels. Among the names on the list are the Goemon and Gradius franchises, the first of which featured Konami Code. Applications will be accepted until January 6, 2022.
