It’s been exactly 5 years since JRPG Person 5 was first published in Japan, on September 15, 2016. However, it wasn’t released in the rest of the world until 2017.
With the game approaching its fifth anniversary, Atlus clearly couldn’t let that day pass. Shigenori Soejima, the game’s character designer, produced an art piece to commemorate this day.

Persona 5 was a great success, becoming the series’ largest release. Persona 5 Royal, an upgraded edition of the game, was released, as well as spin-offs such as Persona 5 Strikers and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight.
