Razer announces the new Razer Blade 17 with the most powerful Intel processor ever seen in a Razer portable.
The Blade 17 and Blade 15 Modelo Base have received significant improvements with the 11th generation Intel® CoreTM series H processors: faster performance, faster storage, and Thunderbolt 4.
Razer, the world’s leading gaming lifestyle brand, announced today the next generation of gaming laptops, the Razer Blade 17, which will be equipped with Intel Core Série H processors and GPUs up to NVIDIA® GeForce RTXTM 3080 for portability. The Core i9-11900H, Intel’s most powerful processor yet seen in a Razer Blade, will make its debut with the Blade 17. With all of its improvements, the new Blade 17 ultrathin continues to be an excellent substitute for secretarial computers for gamers and content creators.
With an Intel i9-11900H processor with eight cores and 16 threads, the Blade 17 achieves previously unimaginable levels of performance in a Razer Blade. The CPU operates at a maximum frequency of up to 4.90GHz in turbo mode, which means that users can expect much faster speeds in both games and multitasking situations. The combination of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU for portables and options for up to 4k monitors with tactile functionality means that Razer has created one of the most powerful gaming portables on the market.
Blade 17 also comes with a new fingerprint-resistant coating to help minimize stains on the notebook’s exterior after regular usage. With the Blade, the 11th generation Intel platform has a variety of quality-of-life enhancements like as faster storage, faster memory, and two-way Thunderbolt 4 connection.
“Over the years, the Blade 17 has become an icon in the premium gaming notebook market, and it’s critical that we continue to deliver the kind of mind-blowing performance and impeccable quality that our fans expect and deserve,” said Brad Wildes, Vice President Senior and General Director of Razer’s Systems Business Unit. “Continued development while incorporating the most recent breakthroughs in high-end hardware is what gives the Blade family its ‘edge.’ Razer Blades have always been associated with power and style, and we plan to keep them that way.”
Blade 17 is an improved Full HD 1080p webcam with perfect clarity for every application. This laptop also doubles the number of dedicated microphones from two to four, making video calling even better, and has four speakers that face upwards for a completely immersive gaming experience. The steam chamber and touchpad on the Razer Blade have also been updated, with the latter including better palm detection to avoid inadvertent cursor movements when typing. The redesigned vapor chamber creates an even more effective heat dispersion technique to minimize excessive system temperatures, bolstering the Blade 17’s claim to be a genuine desktop replacement capable of handling any job with ease.
The Blade 17 includes all of the Razer features that fans have come to expect in a Blade notebook, such as Razer Chroma RGB per-key backlighting, THX® Spatial Audio immersive for dynamic sound that enhances the realism of any gaming or entertainment experience, and an ensemble set of ports that eliminates the need for adapters, such as an SD card reader and USB-C charging.
