Speedrunner completes The Last of Us on realistic difficulty in 2 hours and 48 minutes
Every gamer has attempted to finish a game as quickly as possible at some point in their lives, and we continue to do so today with the help of speedrunners, who finish games that would normally take 10 hours to complete.
This was the case with The Last of Us, in which a streamer known as “Anthony Caliber” completed the Naughty Dog title in 2 hours and 48 minutes and set a new world record.
As is not secret, playing The Last of Us on realism difficulty is significantly more difficult; the enemies are more powerful and lethal, there are few crafting materials and less ammunition. Anthony Caliber took 2 hours, 48 minutes, and 58 seconds to complete The Last of Us at this difficulty.
Anthony Caliber is already well-known for setting Speedrun records in a variety of Naughty Dog games, including the franchise’s first three installments, Uncharted, The Last of Us: Left Behind, and The Last of Us: Part II.
