Star Fox Zero on Switch is a PlatinumGames dream come true

PlatinumGames expressed an interest in porting Star Fox Zero to the Nintendo Switch.

Star Fox Zero, which was first launched in 2016 for the Wii U, has generated a lot of buzz and split opinion, and it is still one of the few games that is unique to the previous Nintendo home system.

PlatinumGames’ Atsushi Inaba told the VGC that if Nintendo is interested, they will accept.

“It’s not cool that people can’t play older games because they can’t access the platform. Therefore, we’d prefer to bring older games to newer platforms if at all feasible.”

“It depends on what’s possible, but if the chance occurs, it’s something we’d want to consider.”

According to Inaba, a hypothetical Nintendo Switch version would help address one of the most significant concerns raised about the original version, since the game would have to run on a single screen and your focus would not be divided between the TV and the Wii U GamePad.
