The Blasphemous sequence has been announced, and it will premiere in 2023
Team17 and The Game Kitchen have announced that they are working on a Blasphemous sequel, which is set to release in 2023. Currently, the game is in its early stages of development and will be a follow-up to the award-winning action platform game from 2019.
The announcement coincided with the release of “Wounds of Eventide,” a completely new and free update for Blasphemous that concludes “The Penitent One’s first trip” and unlocks the game’s true ending.
Blasphemous: Wounds of Eventide is set to release on PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on December 9th, and will have new boss’s, areas, and items, among other things.
Blasphemous is a 2D Metroidvania that is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
