The Elder Scrolls Online: Waking Flame DLC is now available for download on PC, Mac, and Stadia

    The Waking Flame DLC for Elder Scrolls Online is now available on PC, Mac, and Stadia, bringing with it two new dungeons and Update 31 to the world of Tamriel.

    Bug fixes, quality of life enhancements, and overall performance improvements are all expected to be included in Update 31, which is scheduled to be released on April 16. One of these features is the ability to respond to in-game messages. It also features new residences, new furnishings, and houseguests, all of which are available for purchase through the in-game microtransaction system, the Crown Store. Changes in PvP fighting are also to be expected.

    Along with these enhancements, a number of graphics enhancements are being introduced for both PC and console platforms. Be aware that Waking Flame and Update 31 have been delayed by a week and will now be released on September 8 on consoles.

    “To ensure a smooth and stable launch, we have made the decision to move back the release date of The Elder Scrolls Online: Waking Flame and Update 31 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 to September 8. By separating our PC/Mac/Stadia and console releases by an additional week, we hope to publish a more stable build, potentially allowing us to include additional fixes before the new content goes live.”

    The team also stated that delaying the release by an additional week will assist to decrease stress on their support staff, allowing them to devote more attention to each individual release.

    Dread Cellar and Red Petal Bastion are two new dungeons added to Elder Scrolls Online as part of Waking Flame’s additions to the game with Update 31. Zenimax Online had already provided a sneak peek at the Dread Cellar.
