The Outer Worlds: Murder On Eridanos Gets Date for Switch

Murder For Eridanos, the second expansion for The Outer Worlds, will be released on Nintendo Switch on September 8th, according to the Private Division and Obsidian Entertainment. The expansion was published in March of that year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and got favorable reviews from the media and gaming community.

Muder On Eridanos will eventually bring the Switch version of the game up to par with the other platforms’ versions. Despite a little drop in visuals and performance on the laptop, it’s encouraging to see that the studio is treating this edition with the same care as the others. Take a look at the trailer for the expansion:

Players must advance to the Monarch section of the main questline to obtain Murder On Eridanos, and while there is no minimum level requirement, Obsidian advises that players achieve level 30 before beginning the new quest.

Patch 1.5 for the Switch version will be published alongside the expansion, and will feature lip sync corrections, interface issue fixes, speed enhancements, and more. On the game’s official website, you may learn more about the patch and expansion.

On October 25, 2019, The Outer Worlds was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
