Wolverine vs. Sabretooth gameplay added to Marvel’s Midnight Suns
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a new tactical RPG based on the darker side of the Marvel Universe that will pit you against demonic forces from the underworld as you team up and mingle with the Midnight Suns, Earth’s final line of defense. Firaxis, the studio behind the XCOM franchise, is working on the game.
Firaxis has published a brand new gameplay trailer for the game, which features a furious encounter against the evil Sabretooth. There was also a lot of fresh information provided.
According to director Jake Solomon, Marvel’s Midnight Suns will not have time limits for missions like XCOM; it will be a unique experience.
In terms of storyline and gameplay, the time restriction in XCOM made sense, but Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a distinct game with different aims and systems.
In terms of play duration, Slomon believes that Marvel’s Midnight Suns will provide a lot of material to gamers, with the game lasting between 40 and 60 hours.
Another intriguing revelation was that heroes may be injured during combat. This will have an effect on the hero’s performance on subsequent missions, resulting in penalties.
The more you use a specific hero in battle, the more vulnerable he is to receiving a lot of damage and hurting himself. Wounded characters can still be utilized in combat, although they will suffer varied penalties, such as starting a battle with half their health. However, heroes may want to be sent into action on rare occasions, and you will be rewarded if you comply.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in March 2022.
