Xbox One controllers now support Xbox Series X|S functionality
All Xbox Insider Program members can now update their Xbox One controllers to the most recent firmware, which includes the Xbox One, Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, and Xbox Adaptive Controller.
This new firmware includes Dynamic Latency Input, which reduces command latency, as well as Bluetooth Low Energy, which improves device compatibility and makes pairing more efficient.
These features are brought to you by the new Xbox Series X|S controllers, and Microsoft takes another step toward uniting the entire Xbox ecosystem, as opposed to Sony, which chose to require all PS5 games to be played with DualSense.
“We are thrilled to bring new software functionality to Xbox One controllers with Bluetooth support, Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, and Xbox Adaptive Controllers that were previously only available on next-generation Xbox Series X|S controllers.”
